In this section of the learning center you will find simulations, videos and webcasts pertaining to DTCC's Deriv/SERV Products & Services. Use the menu at left to locate them. To help distinguish between our various training media, we define these category formats as follows:
- Simulations provide a visual representation of an application, usually web-based. They may allow you to interact with a replicated application to learn navigation and helpful use tips, or they may provide a walkthrough of a task or procedure typically required of users for you to watch and review. These tools often require a PC browser that can view Adobe Flash content.
- Webcasts are self-paced presentations focusing on concepts important to our clients and may or may not include screenshots and images depicting web-based applications. They usually contain an audio narrative and many of them also provide access to related links, documentation, and/or a printable transcript of their content. These tools are often available in multiple parts and in multiple versions, some of which can be played back on portable devices such as iPads and Android tablets.
- Videos are usually short (under 5 minutes), may or may not contain "on-camera" footage of an actor or a DTCC representative sharing news or other information about a topic or upcoming product release of interest to our clients, and can always be viewed on a PC or a portable device such as a smartphone or tablet. They usually don't provide access to links, reference material, or other resources although they will occasionally provide a phone number or email address where more information about the topic may be obtained.
